| Visitors in my capital many times think that Ljubljana is so small city, it is possible to visit in 2 hours and that it's easy to discover everything by yourself. In reality Ljubljana is small city, it has fantastic Tourist Office with many maps and brochure, but still only local guide can take you to secret places, show you less visited sights and explain you 1001 story about life in Ljubljana through many centuries. Our historical guided tour starts on Preseren square, heart of Ljubljana, where Slovenians celebrate most important events, Olympic medals, New Year etc. It's time for a story about the greatest Slovenian poet, love of his life, the biggest earthquake in a history of our country, as well as miracle house, first department store, bridge market and many other things.
Tour continues to the banks of Ljubljanica River, river with seven names and with Greek legend about Argonauts, who stole Golden Fleece. There is plenty to explore in Ljubljana.
For the ones who really want to know Ljubljana very good, an extension of historical tour is possible and includes also other places like Opera house, National Gallery, Modern Gallery, Roman Ljubljana or Krakovo etc. Tours are adjusted to the requests of clients. Historical tour is walking tour, but the rest can be done also by bicycle.
